I've always wanted one of these! I was glad to have found such a good price. It works really well and it's really gonna help me seal up all the air leaks around the house. There are several heat color pallets to choose from although I stick to the normal colorful pallet.

Worked great for identifying cold spots and doing a home energy audit without having to pay someone. I then got my walls insulated with blown in insulation and I was able to use this to verify the contractor's work and identified 3 spots they had missed and had them fill those spots.

I was looking at this product on the Lowe’s website but it had to be ordered from Lowe’s. Looking on Amazon the price was $15 cheaper. So I went with Amazon.

The screen is large and easy to read. Great functionality and settings can be changed. What liked was that it was USB C rechargeable. I have not used it to take measurements on the job. However playing with it around my house I was able to find some glaring insulation and air penetration gaps. I think I’ll like it.

* CONS - I wish it came with a case of some sort, preferably a hard case but no case kind of sucks. I guess I’ll go to HBF and buy a knock off Pelican case to hold this and my IR thermometer and moisture meter!

I first saw a TIC when I was a fire fighter. This is not as big as what I was used to. But it has a better image quality. I will keep playing with it, but was easily impressed
